It has three pathways:

It is also a must-have for all those undertaking the Level 3 Health and Social Care Apprenticeship.

All those who wish to work or are working in an unsupervised role with adults in health and social care environments.
Will I need to be working?
Yes, you will need to be working or on placement, as this course requires you to demonstrate competence through both knowledge and skills.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through a combination of your written assignments, an evidence portfolio and assessment in the workplace. During your studies, an assessor from the college will visit you at work to assess your practical competence, knowledge and understanding. You and your assessor will arrange suitable dates and times for this and discuss what will be observed prior to the visit. Assessor visits are charged separately at £150 per visit.
